My Transition to Education

If there is one thing I am passionate about, it is education; creative, boundary-pushing, quality education.

After graduating in Fashion Design in 2008, and working with local non-profit organisations and disadvantaged communities, I decided to commit myself to pursuing a career in education.

My Teaching Experience

My first teaching job was under a company called Media Works in Cape Town, where I worked as an ABET facilitator. I got to assist a vast array of workers with English literacy and proficiency. I worked with various types of companies, including hotels, wholesalers, a timber factory and a cement manufacturer.

I value the experience because it opened my eyes to the widespread illiteracy issue in our country. I then ventured to online English teaching, where I taught students from across the globe. That further exposed me to the power of education and further affirmed my love for the field.

As a qualified educator, I taught Business Studies, EMS, English FAL and Creative Arts at Kwakwatsi Secondary school, in the Free State, in 2019.

The Purpose of This Website

While this website serves as my professional portfolio of work, it is also an educational resource for Business Studies learners and educators. You will find past exam papers and memos, as well as tips on how to answer various examination questions. My current focus is on Grade 12 Term 3 content.

Feel free to send me your comments and questions. I know that they will benefit us both.

For English literature resources, you can visit my other blog; Literature Captive. You can also keep in touch by visiting my Facebook page, Nonjabulo SA.
