An Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) is a comprehensive document that outlines all the topics that should be taught throughout the year. The wonderful thing about these Business Studies ATPs is that they also guide your pace as a teacher, detailing which topics to cover each term and weekly. Programme of Assessment (POA)
The Programme of Assessment (POA) details all formal assessments required for the subject in a year, including assignments, presentations, case studies, and final exams. It provides information such as assessment duration (how much time learners should be given) and mark allocation.
The great thing about this year’s Business Studies POAs is that they also include the sub-topics to be covered in each assessment and are colour-coded according to the main topic they fall under, e.g. Business Environments or Operations. Therefore, they can also double as a compact scope.
